BUCOLIC Khaoyai isn't your ordinary café; it’s a delightful escape nestled in the lush landscapes of Khao Yai, Thailand. Renowned for its serene lake views and a charming mini zoo, this location offers a tranquil dining experience combined with entertainment for all ages.

As you wander the picturesque grounds, you’re greeted by friendly capybaras and playful sheep, creating a unique atmosphere that invites relaxation and exploration. Guests rave about the oat milk flat white, praised for its smoothness, and the dirty matcha latte, which, while flavorful, could pack a little more espresso kick. However, the true star here is undoubtedly the red velvet cake, claimed by many, including Dom, to be the best they’ve ever tasted, even surpassing those from renowned bakeries.

The atmosphere evokes a European vibe, making it an ideal spot to unwind, snap memorable photos, and savor delightful dishes. Whether you’re visiting with family or friends, BUCOLIC Khaoyai promises a memorable experience filled with nature, great flavors, and a serene ambiance that makes it a true gem in Khao Yai.

Cafe place with mini zoo theme. Saw capybara here. Cold orange-coffee drink is refreshing under the hot July sun.

Bucolic Khao Yai is more than just a café—it’s a huge compound with a serene lake, a petting zoo, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. The oat milk flat white was smooth and satisfying, and the dirty matcha latte was flavoursome, though it could’ve done with an extra shot of espresso for a stronger kick. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and savour great drinks. A must-visit for both the food and the peaceful atmosphere!

I think it’s the closest you can get to the garden of Eden! This café sits on a lake area that is absolutely stunning, it’s super photogenic hence the hoards of people snapping shots, it’s not a hidden secret but it’s still 100% worth the visit and the real reason is… their red velvet cake! It is the best I’ve ever had, my previous favourite was ‘The Hummingbird’ a dessert shop in London, but this has taken the title. You must try! There are sheep in a petting zoo area too, who are baa’ing away in happiness. It’s a very special place and a must visit. It’s also pet friendly. A Khao Yai gem

I don't see much mention of this cafe in Instagram, but what a gem! It's a cafe and mini zoo rolled into one, with a scenic Swiss mountain lake as a backdrop. The zoo allows petting and feeding of ducks, hens, rabbits, lambs, tortoise and even a capybara! 50 Baht per pax to enter and the cost can be offset again your F&B purchase. Animal feeding is 60-150 baht. Highly recommended!

Such a pretty place! There is a 50 Baht entrance fee that you can redeem if you buy a drink or food. The scenery is amazing. There's a flower garden filled with petunia's & there is a mini zoo. There were sheep, tortoises, chickens, ducks, capybara, flamingoes & cats. You're able to feed the animals for a small fee for the food.

Cutest café I’ve been to in Khao Yai! The place is beautifully designed, there’s a little lake in the middle, everything looks super aesthetic and Instagrammable. The highlight for us was definitely the mini safari. Entry was just 50 baht, and then you pay a bit more depending on which animals you want to feed and pet. First we went to the bunny area, they were so cute and friendly! They didn’t run away and were happy to be fed and petted. Then we checked out the sheep and duck area, that part looked amazing in photos. The sheep were a bit… intense not the friendliest, but still fun and made us laugh. Highly recommend it for a fun and photogenic stop!
